I have made a few pieces of wood shaper brazed tooling with stellite (Tantung) instead of carbide, if there are radii or contours. To do the tool in carbide takes notching to depth, and then blending by hand to profile, all with diamond wheel(s). In stellite, a regular AlO wheel can be dressed to shape and the form ground directly.
