+1, if it has been sitting for so long not used then the odds are the "magneto" is dead - I know not true magneto ignition but the magnets in the flywheel loose their attraction so to speak - easily fixed. Other think is blocked jets in the carb - when you try to start it does the plug get wet? - assume you fitted a new plug.
